Most of the hotel gives you a double room with an extra mattress in the corner in the name of a family room, but Westend Hotel rooms in Matheran are designed for four people from the start. The double bed is for parents and two single beds for childrens with having enough space to open bags.
The room is fully air-conditioned and has an attached bathroom with hot water running throughout the day, a television and a tea/coffee maker. Which matters when you are trying to get children to sleep before nine.

About four guests fit in this deluxe room because there are two beds in the room. If you are five or six people two couples travelling together The heritage family room is the larger option and better to fit there.
Children below five years easily stay without paying and above this age need an extra bed so extra charges applied. The amount of the matheran room is set according to season so confirm it on whatsapp rather than arriving.
There is a gaming room in the matheran room, a swimming pool and indoor games including table tennis, badminton, carrom etc. Horse riding around the property can be arranged through the front desk of the table which is the part that children always remember.
