This website is operated by Westend Hotel Matheran, R.C. Church Road, Next to Matheran Police Station, Matheran, Maharashtra 410102. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the hotel; "you" means anyone using this website.

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

We try to keep everything here accurate and current, but some things change faster than a website does.

• Rates and availability shown or described here are indicative. Your rate is the one we confirm to you in writing for your specific dates.
• Facilities may be closed for maintenance, seasonal reasons or weather. The pool, the spa, campfires and outdoor dining are all subject to this.
• Travel information — toy train timings, distances, parking charges, entry fees — comes from public sources and changes. Verify anything time-critical before you travel.
• Photographs are of our property, but rooms are allotted on availability and a specific room cannot be guaranteed.

Nothing on this website is an offer that can be accepted automatically. An enquiry is not a booking. A booking exists only when we have confirmed it to you and any required advance has been received.

Cancellation terms, refunds, check-in and check-out times, ID requirements and the child policy are set out on the booking policy page and form part of your booking.

Guests must be 18 or above to check in, and a valid original government photo ID is required from every adult guest as Indian law requires.

The photographs, text, layout and logo on this website belong to Westend Hotel Matheran. You may not copy, reproduce or republish them without our written permission.

We mention this specifically because it is a live problem for us: other websites copy our images and text to impersonate the hotel. If you are a travel writer or genuine media and want to use something, ask us — we usually say yes.

Websites exist that use our name, logo and photographs without authorisation and take bookings that never reach us. We have no control over them and no ability to refund money paid to them.

• We have no branch offices and no authorised booking agents operating under our name.

Established travel portals such as MakeMyTrip, Booking.com and TripAdvisor are legitimate channels and those bookings reach us normally. How to verify before you pay

Where we link to travel portals, railway information, government reporting portals or maps, those sites are not under our control. We link to them because they are useful, not as an endorsement, and their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Please do not:

• Attempt to interfere with the site, its security or its availability
• Scrape or systematically copy content from it
• Use the enquiry form or our contact numbers to send unsolicited or abusive messages
• Represent yourself as the hotel or as acting on our behalf

This website is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available or entirely free of errors, and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on information here that has since changed — travel timings and third-party charges in particular.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law, including your rights as a consumer.

Matters relating to your actual stay — property, guest belongings, conduct on the premises — are covered by the booking policy and by the terms in force at the hotel.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the use of this website.
