About the poolside tent stay
The thing that makes rooms in Matheran special is that there are no engines, no horns, just birds and the occasional horse on the path. The main reason for the tent is that it is worth sleeping closer to. They sit on the property beside the swimming pool and a short distance from the restaurant and the front desk.
It is a fixed tent, not like a temporary trek camp. Here you get a proper double bed, electric light and the same room service the rooms get. What makes this tent different is a solid wall, and what you get in return is waking up outdoors with the pool a few steps away.
It is the best Matheran room for couples and for children, which experience they will remember for a long time even after they have forgotten which viewpoint was which. Groups of four or more are better off in a family room, with the tent as an evening rather than a bed.

No, we can never tell this properly. You get proper facilities of bed, electricity and a hotel room in matheran It is a fixed facility provided by the hotel inside the pool, not a trek camp. If you want outside without giving up a mattress and a bathroom, this is it.
The bathroom arrangement for the tent is different from the main matheran room. Ask us if you enquire there is no surprise to check it and give a bathroom near the tent. We will tell you exactly what the set up is for you according to your dates.
